Plasterer Apprenticeship

What Is A Plasterer?
A person with the art or skill of applying materials over surfaces producing both interior and exterior walls, ceilings and other surfaces in the construction or remodeling of buildings, homes and other structures.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • An applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicant must be in good health and physically able to perform all phases of the work.
  • Applicant must be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
  • Applicant must possess a current, valid driver’s license at time of dispatch.

Benefits
The Plastering Industry JATC is jointly sponsored by the Plasterers Union, Lathing and Plastering Contractors and Contracting Plasterers Association. As a union member and employee you will receive excellent medical, dental and optical coverage as well as 2 (two) pension plan benefits.

Program
The Plastering Industry JATC Apprenticeship Program is a 4 (four) year program consisting of 6000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related classroom training.
