What is a Cement Mason?
This
program is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a cement
mason. Training consists of finishing sidewalks, curb and gutter, floor slabs,
architectural concrete as well as patching and repair of concrete.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Applicants must be at least eighteen
(18) years of age. You will be required to provide proof of age. There is
no maximum age.
- Applicants must be in good
health and physically able to perform all phases of the work.
Benefits
As
an apprentice and union member, you will be afforded health and welfare and
pension plan benefits.
Program
Typically Cement Masons JATC
Apprenticeship Program is a three year program consisting of 4200 on-the-job hours
and 432 related training hours.
